Overview

AI DriverPay (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides payroll automation software for trucking carriers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

Data we collect

Account information

Name, email address, company name, phone number, and authentication credentials you provide when creating an AI DriverPay account.

Driver information

Driver names, contact details, pay rates, truck assignments, settlements, mileage, bonuses, and deductions that you (the carrier) enter to operate payroll. We act as a processor for this data.

Payment information

Subscription billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers — only the last four digits, brand, expiration, and Stripe customer / subscription identifiers needed to manage your plan.

Usage data

Logs, device data, IP address, and product analytics used to keep the service reliable and to debug issues.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies to measure feature usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser without losing access to your account.

How we use information

  • Operate the AI DriverPay product and generate settlements.
  • Send transactional email (settlements, receipts, account notices).
  • Send SMS notifications to drivers when enabled on your plan.
  • Process subscription billing through Stripe.
  • Detect abuse and secure the platform.

Data retention

We retain account and payroll records for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years after cancellation to meet tax and accounting requirements. You can request earlier deletion as described below.

SMS Communications

AI DriverPay sends SMS/MMS messages on behalf of carriers to their drivers when the carrier has enabled SMS notifications and the driver has provided express written consent through an opt-in flow.

Message types

  • Settlement-ready and payroll notifications
  • Load assignment and dispatch alerts
  • Operational and account notices from the carrier

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on load and settlement activity, typically 1–10 messages per week per driver.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

STOP and HELP

Drivers can reply STOP to any message to opt out of all future SMS messages, or reply HELP for support information. Opt-out is processed immediately.

Consent

Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase of any product or service. Drivers may decline SMS and still use AI DriverPay. We log each consent event with timestamp, phone number, IP address, user agent, and the exact consent text shown at opt-in.

Carrier disclaimer and data sharing

Mobile carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile information (including phone numbers and opt-in data) is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile information only with subprocessors strictly required to deliver the messages you requested (e.g., Twilio as our SMS gateway).

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Carriers control driver records inside the product and can export or delete them from the dashboard.
